Piper At The Gates Of Dawn

This week's album is Piper At The Gates Of Dawn by Pink Floyd. The title of Pink Floyd's debut album is taken from a chapter in Syd Barett's favorite children's book, The Wind in the Willows. I really want to read this book now that I know this. My favorite song is The Gnome. I mentioned this in the last post. I'm really sorry about not posting often. I have a shortcut to this and I'm on the computer every day and glance up at it and say, Oh I'll post tomorrow but I never do. If you have any recommendations to help me with this situation please comment on my blog.

  1. There's a copy of WIND IN THE WILLOWS in the back seat of the car. Feel free to read it at any time!

  2. It might help to get into a routine of sorts. Like spend some time every Sunday to write a post. Be it about the music you are listening to or what you did during the week.

I also second you mom in reading Wind in the Willows...it was a great book. =)

  3. well, I am not good at updating my blog regularly either. What works for some people though, is they assign a topic to a day- like "Music Monday" or "Weird Wednesday". Then that gives you an idea of what to write about on any day. If you think of something weird on Saturday, you can save it up!

Also, _Wind in the Willows_ is a nice book, and 'Piper at the Gates of Dawn' is my favourite chapter too.

  4. Here is what I know about human training.

If you do things with them at a regular time, they get used to it. For instance, I tell my female when it's time to go to bed, and sometimes she does it without me reminding her, which makes me very proud. But I had to tell her for a long long time at the same time every day before she remembered even a little.

If you already sit at the computer, you could set a timer, and write your blog when the timer goes off. Also, you could make a very short post. It's okay to do that, humans can't pay attention to anything for very long, they don't mind.

If they know that every day there will be a post, after a while they will come looking for it. At least sometimes.

If you make a post every day for a year, then you will remember. Probably.

    Do you have any salmon?

  5. I like salmon. My female takes the bones out for me. We choke on bones.
